What You’ll Get to Do:

At CACI, we are thrilled to open our new Shared Services Center (SSC) in Oklahoma City, OK! Our SSC will be home to hundreds of CACI team members working in critical corporate functions, such as Finance and Accounting, Information Systems, Contracts, Procurement, Security and Human Resources.

As the Technical Writer/Document Manager, you are responsible for producing, proof-reading, editing, and formatting technical documentation to include design specifications, manuals, on-line help, procedures, plans, and proposals. Edits and formats information for consumption through various media channels to include printed materials, scripted voice content, email, websites, and other electronic access points. Gathers information, interviews subject matter experts, and conducts other research in order to convey technical material in a concise and effective manner.

More About the Role:

  • Maintain existing templates, user guides, and procedures for technical staff.

  • Maintain existing user guides and procedures for non-technical employees.

  • Write professional and effective process and procedure documents based on flow charts.

  • Validate, edit, format, and publish user guides with a strong focus on appearance, simplicity, and brevity.

  • Attend department meetings to determine necessary updates to existing documents.

  • Periodically audit document library to ensure accuracy and applicability.

  • Be able to re-prioritize tasks and projects in short notice.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of related (technical writing/editing) experience.

  • Document management experience required.

  • SharePoint content management desired.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Prior experience working in a shared service environment highly preferred
