We're looking for someone to help grow the Water practice in the area.
We are looking for highly driven employee owners who have excellent client interaction skills and can assist and participate in the planning and design teams for medium to large water and wastewater projects. In this position, you will participate in everything from medium to multi-million dollar water, distribution, and wastewater treatment projects.
Assist in activities of several disciplines across multiple locations on everything from major projects, to projects of moderate scope, or a combination of smaller projects.
Works with multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians in the design of municipal water treatment facilities as wells as the contractors and construction staff on design/build projects or as Owner's Engineer during the construction phase of our projects.
Understands and applies conventional and advanced water treatment technologies to solve complex water quality, water treatment, and water supply projects for our clients.
Must be capable of devising new approaches to problems encountered.
Plans, organizes, and communicates project needs to project and department managers.
Ability to develop technical reports, plans, and specifications for water treatment projects.
Assist in the process design on water supply, distribution, and treatment projects.
Assists in the planning and study efforts related to water facilities.
This position requires an individual capable of successfully solving difficult problems that require adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Demonstrates ability in lime softening, conventional filtration as well as membrane technologies. In addition, needs to understand hydraulics, chemical feed systems, disinfection, advanced oxidation, and residuals handling.
Ability to coordinate with regulatory agencies.
Develops and maintains client relationships.
Involvement in local water and client organizations.
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering from accredited program.
Minimum three (3) years related experience (completion of master's degree in related field may be substituted for one year of experience).
This position requires a self-driven individual with municipal drinking water process background and the willingness to take on new challenges.
Experience in lime softening, conventional filtration as well as membrane technologies is preferred.
Knowledge of hydraulics, chemical feed systems, disinfection, advanced oxidation, and residuals handling is strongly preferred.
Willingness to learn new technical skills related to water treatment.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate with regulatory agencies.
