Harrison Energy Partners New System Sales Engineer in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Develop and maintain relationships with building owners, occupants and facilities management personnel to provide preventative maintenance service solutions as well as timely replacement solutions when system failures occur. Is responsible for sales and pricing related to both bid and non-bid control jobs within the territory, as well as controls support for local engineering customers. Develop relationships with mechanical contractors, consulting engineers and building owners to increase the sales of equipment and controls. Act as Account Manager providing technical sales support to owners, consulting engineers, and contractors.

Develop new and maintain existing relationships with facilities management decision makers for commercial and industrial business locations. Maintain excellent communication with service technicians, Harrison Energy Partners administration, Harrison Energy Partners Management, and the customer such that expectations are retrieved, communicated and fulfilled.
Analyze existing building systems to provide customers with the optimum preventative maintenance service solutions. Estimate material, labor, and subcontractor costs associated with preventative maintenance service agreements and construction projects.
Provide customers with retrofit and replacement solutions as the building needs change and its equipment, materials, and work force as needed to provide customers with retrofit and replacement solutions.
Develop and present service agreement contracts and construction project proposals such that scopes, schedules, and costs are clearly understood by both Harrison Energy Partners and the customer. Renew existing service agreements.
Perform and log sales call activity such that efforts can be prioritized based upon potential revenue and company goals. Identify opportunities for control replacement and upgrade. Work with controls sales to make sale. Prepare quotes for startup and warranties as needed.
Visit customer job sites to evaluate the performance of Harrison Energy Partners with the customer. Try to find a win/win solution when customer complaints arise with Harrison Energy Partners.
Assist in collection of delinquent accounts.
Price and sell all NWA control jobs and change orders with local contractors working alongside the new equipment salesmen. Prepare control drawings and specifications for LR salesmen’s engineering customers as requested for jobs in NWA territory.
Call on engineers and prepare control diagrams and specifications for their plans, as well as attend ASHRAE, USGBC, and other events that they may attend. Call on school district and university superintendents/facility directors to sell controls directly. Call on owners of buildings who have competitive control systems and/or service agreements.
Assist the direct (service) sales engineers with service customers who have potential control jobs as well as assist Mike Thompson with Baxter County owners. Handle correspondence with contractors as needed when our BAS technicians and/or Sheldon have issues. Solicit quotes from Matlock Electric for installation of ft. smith area jobs before the bid date. Prepare transition packets after selling the job and present job to fulfillment team.

Serve as the office LEED expert which includes USGBC involvement, attending/staffing conference and answering questions from colleagues or customers.
Project our company and brand image in the best light possible. Build and maintain customer relationships through responsiveness, quality of info disseminated, entertainment and consistently being available. Develop relationships with mechanical contractors, consulting engineer and building owners. Manage account relationships – timely response, problem resolution, and distinctive entertainment.
Build and maintain relationship and provide technical support to engineers during design, contractors during bid and installation and owners during operation. Preparation of equipment and controls bids. Preparation and review of submittals.
Support marketing functions – ENL’s, seminars, tradeshows, mailers, Trane golf tournament and other customer events.
Stay active in professional organizations (i.e. ASHRAE, USGBC, Same). Continuing education, training and professional society affiliation.
Coordinate with various factories to position our products, price appropriately, get them to the job site on time, and ensure optimal operation. Coordinate with service, controls, BPG to project “one Trane” to customers.
Assist consulting engineers with HVAC system design. Provide mechanical contractors with informative and timely bids. Provide consulting engineers with equipment selections and other technical support.
Perform job take-offs for bid preparation.
Provide technical and non-technical support for design and installation of HVAC systems- equipment selections, specifications, jobsite and warranty administration.
Equipment and controls estimates – review plans and specs, request addenda or clarification on problematic items.
Work with engineers and act as their technical advisor where they look to Harrison Energy Partners for all their equipment and system design needs. Make equipment selections and system recommendations to engineers and design build contractors on new or existing projects.
Work closely with our inside sales engineers to generate submittals for projects completed by new systems sales team. Determine the highest pricing levels that can be used and still get every job possible.

Provide training sessions such as “lunch and learns” to engineers to educate them on the following: New, Old, and revised system ideas. Daikin equipment (and other equipment represented by Harrison Energy Partners). Industry codes and procedures.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Technical degree required in such disciplines as law, engineering, etc. plus 5 years related experience and/or training, and 1 year related management experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience.

State driver’s license, auto insurance, auto registration, acceptable driving record.
