What you'll get to do:

This position will be located in a Shared Service Center (SSC), where the individual manages the execution of the contract closeout function for the Contracts group. Works independently to ensure timely reconciliation of all relevant corporate close-out data through proactive collaboration with Procurement, Accounting, Government Property, Compliance, and other business functions. Is Lead Negotiator on Quick Close-out and other post-award Contract close-out actions. Directs contracts administrators supporting de-obligation requests and quick close-out actions.

More about this role:

  • Ensure company's contract closeout process and checklists are appropriately completed in accordance with the CACI defined policy and federal procurement regulations.

  • Must be able to quickly grasp procurement terms, methodologies, processes, and prepare contract files and associated electronic documentation. Responsible for proper reconciliations of all subcontract data, collaborate with business operations, and other relevant groups to ensure all data is properly analyzed and reconciled, and support the subcontracts group in discussions with customers to closeout contracts.

  • Advises management on status of on-going program closeout efforts and provided regular reporting of activities and workload.

  • Provides interpretation of terms and conditions to the supplier. Researches and recommends procurement policies and procedure revisions that may benefit own job functions and others.

  • Requires an ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders at various levels of the company and work collaboratively with others in a team environment.

  • Regularly works to achieve operational objectives within the job area with direct impact on department results.

You'll bring these qualifications:

Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and five years of related (government contract administration) experience. Knowledge and understanding of the FAR/DFARS is required.
