Job Description

At CACI, we are thrilled to open our new Shared Services Center (SSC) in Oklahoma City, OK! Our SSC will be home to hundreds of CACI team members working in critical corporate functions, such as Finance and Accounting, Information Systems, Contracts, Procurement, Security and Human Resources.

What You’ll Get to Do:

As a Buyer within CACI’s new shared service center you will oversee the purchasing function in conjunction with all other organizational functions of the department. Typically works on and places purchase orders valued up to $700,000. May be assigned higher value tasks with oversight from senior management level staff.

More about this Role:

Reviews requisitions, solicits/evaluates bids, recommends and selects suppliers for award of purchase orders.

Negotiates price, quality, delivery and other terms and conditions. Complies with corporate policies, procedures, and underlying Federal, state, and/or local regulations concerning the purchase and/or shipment of goods, materials, and services.

Performs oversight on all awarded purchase orders until delivery/completion of goods/services.

Coordinate and prioritize activities in a fast-paced environment.

Recruits and maintains responsive suppliers providing high quality products and services at fair and reasonable prices.

Conducts supplier site visits. Rates suppliers for production capability, past performance, and timeliness of deliveries.

Negotiates with suppliers and settles damage claims, rejections, losses, return of materials, over-shipments, cancellations, and engineering change orders.

Expected to provide advice and guidance to less experienced staff.

You'll bring these qualifications:

The highest levels of fairness, business ethics and personal conduct, while focusing on superior customer service to the Program Team

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and two to four years of related (government subcontract administration) experience.

Knowledge of FAR, DFAR and GSA Schedules

These qualifications would be nice to have:

Experience with Costpoint and P2P system knowledge
